Manufacture Process
To ensure compliance with the requirements of the client and the specific rules applicable to our products, TSA plans and carries out production of its pipes under controlled conditions. These controls begin at the purchasing process, through the selection of highly qualified suppliers, and continue up to the post-sale process through the monitoring of client’s satisfaction.
TSA has advanced systems for inspection of welding string, in the thermally affected area and on the body of the pipes. Ultrasound inspection is also performed in the welding line, just after two rounds of external welding. This process allows the online control of the weld quality.
After cutting, the pipe is properly marked and led to an intermediate control station. A hydrostatic test is performed to ensure the integrity of the pipe. Then, the pipe is again subjected to examination by ultrasound and radiography. After going through all the manufacturing and testing stations, the pipe is transferred to a final inspection area. At this inspection, the tests are dimensional control, visual inspection of internal and external surface of the pipe and control of their marking. Finally the pipe is labeled as specified by the client, and is ready to be transported or coated.
Through these controls the TSA demonstrates the capacity of their processes to achieve the results planned to achieve compliance of the product.
